Welcome to the site of the KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA ISP NEHRUNAGAR NASIK ROAD.
This KV is under the KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan New Delhi which is a premier organization
in India administering 981 schools known as "KendriyaVidyalayas" with 10,12,493 students and 44,874
employees on rolls as on 01.08.2008.
Genesis
KendriyaVidyalaya,
India Security Press, Nasik started functioning
w.e.f.16.11.1987, upto class V (one section each)
initially in the buildings provided by the Sponsoring agency,India
Security Press, Nasik
Road. The first Principal of the Vidyalaya
was Mrs.K.Deshmukh and the first chairman of the Vidyalaya was Mr.Shivram, GeneralManager,
India

The Vidyalaya is a civil sector Vidyalaya,
the sponsoring agency being India
Security Press, Nasik.
Important milestones of growth :-
The foundation stone for the school
building was laid by Hon.Minister for Human Resoure
Development Shri.Arjun Singh on 4th May 1994. India
Security Press has given the vidyalaya 9.75 acres
(7.75 acres for school campus + 2 acrea for staff
Quarters) for this purpose. The beautiful school building where the school is
functioning now, was inaugurated by Hon.Minister of state for Finance Mr.SatpalMaharajon 5th Nov.1997. The school has an
enviable garden and beautiful building in the heart of NasikCity. The land has been leased by the
sponsoring Agency for 99 years and the deed was made in the year 1991.
Important milestones of growth :-
A beautiful garden was developed in
the year 2000. The garden instantly attracts all the visitors. In the year
1998, funds were relased by KVS Head Quarters for
the development of foot ball ground and 200 mtrs.track. The school was also declared model
school in the year 1999-2000.
Graded year wise expansion and sections leading to present status :-
The Vidyalaya
started funcitoningw.e.f.
16th Nov.1987 in temporary building provided by India
Security Press, Nasik
from Classes I to V (One section each) with a total strength of about 60
students initially
Gradually over the years, the Vidyalaya grew
in size and reputation and is one of the most sought after schools in NasikCity. The school got
its + 2 stream in Science in the year 1999. Now the vidyalaya
has a strength of over 1400 with three sections each
in all classes upto X and one section each in XI
& XII Science with a staff strength of 54.

Initially the Schol
started functiongin the type IV quarters provided
by the Sposoring agency ( i.e.
IndiaSecuirty Press) Now the vidyalaya
has a own beautiful building constructed by CPWD. It has also an excellent
garden developed in the school campus.
